SIVA’S TESTIMONY (LITTLE AVIATOR) PASSION PURSUIT We are happy to share a spectacular story of one of our little aviators, who has gone from strength to strength while pursuing his passion! Aspiring Astronaut Since as far back as I can remember, I have always aspired to become the world’s youngest astronaut. However, my parents dismissed it as a mere child’s fantasy. All that changed when I wrote out the landing procedure of an airplane on our home’s whiteboard. This impressed my parents, and they began testing my knowledge and abilities in aeronautical engineering, asking me questions about space, airplanes, and more. On one occasion, during a trip to India on Air Arabia airlines, I had the opportunity to talk to a pilot. In the cockpit, the pilot questioned me about the functionality of the Airbus and even allowed me to sit in the pilot’s chair.   Namale Kisha Ruth captured the nation’s imagination when she pointed us to an exciting time in Aviation History. Ruth, an IATA Airline Cabin Crew certificate holder from DAS Aviation School, rules the sky as the newly crowned Miss Tourism Buganda 2024. Through several phases of the competition i.e. public and private interviews, talent portion, sports and social impact project pitching focusing on creating peace through tourism and cultural preservation, Ruth exhibited a great deal knowledge and exposure thriving through every stage.   There’s no limit to what women can accomplish. Keisha rises as a strong, bold, courageous lady blazing a path in the Eco Fashion system. The sky isn’t the limit; she will forever shoot through it. 

Safety is personal to many of us at DAS Aviation School. Our conversations with safety leaders have shown us that it’s more than just following rules - it’s about ensuring everyone returns home safely after each day. Strong safety leadership means creating a culture where safety is a priority and empowering everyone to speak up about safety concerns. This   year, we honor our dedicated DAS Staff who have demonstrated their commitment to safety through their actions and  initiatives. DAS Aviation School - Brand Ambassador Nabukonde Ruokaya Kiyayi is my name, the Mighty Brand Ambassador of DAS Aviation School. You might be wondering how I got this title! Brand Ambassador. Yes. It’s all thanks to DAS AVIATION SCHOOL, that has made it possible for me to be their Ambassador. Not long ago, I went through as the reigning Miss Tourism Uganda. I was offered a scholarship through their Corporate Social Impact program, as a way of giving back to the community. DAS Aviation School was offering a scholarship to the winner of the Miss Tourism contest, 2023 – 2024.
